Just to prove we practice what we preach here at O3, we decided our work section needed some…well, needed some work. So we re-tooled it to better showcase our projects and explain the specific nature of the relationship with the client and the services we provided. While Radcliffe Jewelers understood diamonds are a girl’s best friend, they needed their website to be the girlfriend’s second best friend. Our challenge was to take their large retail stores in Maryland, with tons of inventory, and bring it down to size online in a manageable and appealing fashion. We worked up a strategy with Radcliffe that included a photography shoot for their online inventory, and video shoots for their online content. While the E-commerce site is still in development, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be draped in bling.

Due to the niche market of Free Design’s target audience of designers and engineers, we knew we’d have to create a site that was visually and technically sound. Their Free Dimension technology, which won the Cadwire.net Tech Innovator Award in 2006, was helpful in generating a good deal of photographic or graphical examples of the work, which enabled us to incorporate the imagery on the home page and within the gallery section of the site.
