Same Stuff, Different Day... Or Not

Most of my friends and family have no clue what I do at work. When they answer the question, it generally goes something like this, “Justin works at a web design and development company doing marketing. Web stuff.” Sure. That sounds great, I love web stuff. In reality, interactive Project Managers cannot be defined in a couple sentences. Any given day can be completely different from the next because I have no set schedule. Many days I could be considered a firefighter, peacemaker, and/or salesman. A general day can consist of anywhere between 2 - 10 phone calls, 2 - 5 meetings, at least one curveball, and one fire to put out.

A conversion in web design is when a user takes specific actions that are defined by the sites design. The classic example is when a user visits an online retailer and purchases a product. The goal defined by the design is to get people to buy, so when a user hits that ‘buy now’ button, a conversion took place. Why We Chose Fishtown

Later this year, we’ll be moving our offices just a few blocks north to the cozy confines of Fishtown, along Frankford Ave. And while the decision to move was difficult for a variety of reasons, the location and style of our new office was never in question. The Fishtown neighborhood wasn’t necessarily a guarantee, but we knew all along it was going to be something off the beaten path, that was non-traditional in nature, and with a little more edge... just like us.
