Di Bruno Bros. Retrospective: Delicious New Magento Features

When we launched www.DiBruno.com we were excited to receive many kudos from the Magento development community, a mention on the blog, and a nod from some folks in Magento Inc’s Sales and Training departments. It was clear to those in the know that our installation was heavily customized, and many of the features we implemented weren’t native to Magento. In order to properly convey Di Bruno Bros’ branding and in-store experience and leverage existing marketing channels and brand assets, we either extended existing features or straight up high-jacked the Magento API and created 100% tasty, brand new components.

That includes putting our Five Year Anniversary Party together, new marketing initiatives prepared for the New Year, as well as clients pushing to launch websites prior to the holidays.

A/B Testing: Trail Testing for Your Website

I recently decided to relive my youth a bit by (re)picking up camping, and being that a good backpack is paramount to a successful trip I’ve been doing a ton of research as to which pack to purchase. One thing I know from experience is that most packs look great and feel great on your shoulders in the store, but trail testing your gear is truly the only way you’re going to find out what is, and isn’t going to work for you. The same can be said about any e-commerce site.
