We seek a talented, hard working Lead Graphic / Web Designer. The candidate must be able to take direction from the Creative Director as well as creating on their own, for both print and Web materials for commercial use. We would like the applicant to have at least 2 years experience working in an advertising agency or design studio environment, but will call on any applicant with a strong portfolio.
The correct candidate should have the following qualifications:
+ Ability to create vector and pixel graphics and layouts for both print and Web use
+ Top-notch Illustrator, Photoshop skills
+ Intermediate level HTML, XHTML, CSS and Javascript
+ Clear Understanding of W3C Standards and Specifications and best practices
+ Clear Understanding of Cross-browser and Cross-platform compatibility
+ Working knowledge of Flash and Actionscript 2.0 / 3.0
+ Proficient in both PC and Macintosh environments
+ Video or AJAX experience would be super
We are looking for a Spring / Summer intern interested in programming web sites in Cold Fusion MX 7, using MySQL databases on Windows platforms. Knowledge of CF is not neccessary, however, a strong knowledge of general programming syntax is a must. You will learn how to develop content management systems, database driven web sites with e-commerce and fully dynamic, user driven sites, among others.
