National Football Post. It's Up... and It's Good!

Kind of like Brett Favre skipping out on training camp before actually coming out of retirement, we launched this site 2 months ago, and now are actually promoting it. National Football Post is one of the fastest growing sport sites in the US, run by industry insiders including, Michael Lombardi, Jack Bechta, Andrew Brandt, Matt Bowen and Joe Fortenbaugh. When they're not breaking stories, which they do quite often, or they're not providing the content for Yahoo Sports on NFL Draft Day, then they're running their industry leading Fantasy Football Draft Guide. Considering the size of their site and the amount of traffic... which to date is roughly 500,000 visitors a month and growing, and has 5 servers running it... we made sure we took our time to work out any kinks before doing our touchdown dance. But now watch out, because we're all doing the TO Shuffle in celebration of this sucker.

The new site includes a re-branding, which includes the logo and tagline we developed, as well as a complete overhaul of the front end of the site and the back end, which includes our custom developed content management system. Taking them from Wordpress to our O3MS system allowed us to create a site that was more specific to their needs, making usability and flexibility as our main focal points. Recognizing that NFP is in a growth stage that includes adding more sections, more features and more writers to an already existing stellar team, we provided them with a system that can easily expand as their offering do.

We continue to work with NFP on monitoring their current site as spikes in traffic occur, as well as the continued development for more and more features to make them the most insightful and interactive football site on the Web.
