O3 World is quickly evolving and growing our staff. The Director of People will lead all HR functions and be instrumental in assuring our culture and values are well aligned and promote an atmosphere of inclusion, creativity, and productivity.
As the Director of People, you’ll be expected to develop, implement, and align HR programs with business objectives, serving as a strategic partner to the Senior Leadership Team while supporting employees in their day-to-day HR needs.
We’re looking for an experienced self-starter who spearheads solutions that promote a healthy and productive working environment and inspires others to do the same through trust and influence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
HR Responsibilities:
- Employee and Labor Relations
- Policies and Procedures
- HR Compliance
- Wage and Salary Administration
- Benefits Administration
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and state human resource requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
People Responsibilities:
- Strategize and manage career pathing. Develop organizational charts and design growth plans for each department and employee in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
- Design and implement strong talent planning and development frameworks to ensure ongoing employee growth; and coordinate succession planning to ensure departmental and organizational consistency.
- Oversee Talent Acquisition by managing relationships with external Talent Partners.
- Serve as a strategic Business Partner to Leadership and as a coach to People Managers.
- Create a culture that enhances and highlights our Total Rewards, Recognition, and Performance Management. Conduct periodic surveys and job evaluations, prepare budgets, recommendations, and plans, and implement pay structure revisions and adjustments.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:
- 10+ years in HR and Culture roles, with a track record of increased responsibility.
- A passion and history of making racial and gender equity manifest in policy and practice.
- Strong tactical HR foundation, with the vision and strategic experience to create a company culture that is aligned with O3 World’s mission and core values.
- Strong experience in compensation benchmarking, salary analysis, and organizational planning and development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team-centered facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Working knowledge of state, federal and applicable employment laws
