Program Manager

O3 World is growing, fast. We’re on the hunt for a Program Manager to help manage large-scale website projects, grow relationships with current accounts, and assist in bringing new clients on board. You’ll oversee client projects from start to finish, being accountable for strategy, schedules, project deliverables, budget and resource management for our internal teams. This is a “player/coach” role where you’ll combine your ability to lead a handful of Enterprise projects and clients while also managing a small team of Project Managers.

At O3 World, we are constantly looking for new tools and improving our process, which is based on Scrum, but has been infused with O3 values and tweaked for what works best in the agency environment. We’re constantly doing things we’ve never done before, piloting new techniques, and looking for better ways to deliver results to our clients. You’ll play a key role in improving our process, ensuring consistency across the Project Management team.

  • Oversee a small team of Project Managers while also managing/leading your own client projects
  • Cultivate and grow relationships/revenue with senior level executives within our client organizations
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope while adhering to the standard project processes of the company
  • Scope and estimate new client projects; Manage all project finances by tracking hours and cost against budget on a weekly basis, project future expenditures and revenue, and manage project scope changes against budget
  • Review team’s weekly timesheet submissions to ensure time is tracked appropriately and on-time
  • Create weekly status reports, client-friendly schedules, milestone plan, and deliverable progress reports on projects you’re leading
  • Run daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings, including creation of user stories
  • Guide Project Managers on proper scrum processes and ensure consistency throughout the team
  • Be the point person and escalation point for client communications related to projects
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable presenting and leading meetings, and can gain consensus when diverse and dissenting viewpoints are presented
  • An intuitive people person, able to navigate both client and internal relationships with ease
  • A positive and solutions-oriented problem solver
  • Calm and confident, even under pressure, and able to handle and navigate difficult conversations
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Incredibly organized and detail-oriented, able to balance being both a player and a coach throughout each day
  • 8-10+ years of experience managing projects in a digital agency or technology-driven environment and at least 1-2 years of experience managing a team
  • Desire to be in a digital agency and help lead & grow a team
  • Client-facing experience in a Project/Product Management role, managing websites, digital products or mobile applications
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • Experience with enterprise clients and products/projects
  • Experience managing project budgets, finances, etc, from start to finish
  • Experience with tools like Harvest, Basecamp, ZenDesk, JIRA and/or Target Process
  • Technical know-how, and/or experience with HTML/CSS, API integrations, CRM implementations, etc.
  • Product Management experience
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, and/or social media
  • Experience as a Strategic Account Manager
  • Experience writing and assisting with proposals and new business development
  • Experience and interest in presenting work and speaking in the tech community
  • Scrum certification (CSM)
