There are so many events, conferences, meetups, and festivals, that it’s hard to keep track of all of them. But we planned one that can’t be missed – 1682. From the team that organized and hosted the Forge Conference for three years, and runs Innovation Day during Philly Tech Week, we’re excited to bring you 1682.
1682 is the business of innovation conference. It’s about the realities associated with starting, scaling, succeeding, and often times, struggling with how to make innovation programs financially feasible.
The format, primarily question and answer with moderators and speakers, is established to encourage transparency, humility, and honesty around innovation programs. This event will not be recorded, minimal content will be shared after the event, and it’s happening one year and one year only. The entire day is curated and designed for an intimate gathering at one of the most recognized and inspiring locations in Philadelphia, the Barnes Foundation.
As you can see from our schedule, we have a fantastic day planned:

The moderators are as accomplished as the speakers. The attendees are as accomplished as the moderators. The vulnerability shared on stage will allow for real connections and conversations amongst one another during the day and between sessions. And since it’s the Barnes, all attendees will have access to the Barnes collection as well.
Tickets are running low so be sure to grab yours. If you’re a student or associated with a non-profit organization, email us for a discounted rate. Hope to see you Tuesday!
