In addition to our dollars we donate our time to support those organizations too. Below are some ways that has taken shape.
We teamed up with The Opt In Network to further our knowledge on how to identify and confront biases.
In an effort to excite young Philadelphians about careers in tech and attract the next generation of leaders we:
Led a mentorship program with Roxborough High School to expose students to concepts ranging from information organization and user experience design to basic web development. This reinforces the skills students learn by building websites using HTML and CSS.
Hosted a virtual workshop with TechGirlz for middle school aged girls across the country on how to create an equitable digital experience.
It’s important to note that we also established new programs to better support our team’s philanthropic efforts:
Extended our employee match program to $5K in 2020.
Created an employee Volunteer Time Off policy to encourage our employees to give back to the community through volunteering with organizations that matter to them
Enabled our team to use Bonusly points for charitable donations any day, all year.
And when times were tough during the pandemic we supported these local businesses by purchasing over $2,500 worth of gift cards:

We also created a monthly peer-to-peer program, Pay it Phorward, to provide a small monetary lift to help individuals and businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. The generous contributions we received touched the lives of the Chestnut Hill Cleaning Company and the Napper family.
In an effort to alleviate additional COVID-19 related pressures businesses were facing, the O3 Labs team created a messaging service that allows users to find out what’s open for business. Senior Experience Strategist, Josh Soldiers, constructed chat flows for each service type; free food distribution, local bars and alcohol, restaurants, and listing a business. He then designed the experience around SMS messaging, prioritized user inputs, and identified fallbacks. Josh also worked alongside Lead Engineer, Zuhib Daud, to create the optimal experience.
